Your report stays on your device

PDF, TXT and Markdown files are read and analysed in your browser. The pilot does not upload or store your report, extracted text or result on an application server.

No account, document database, advertising tracker or generative-AI request is created. A result leaves the browser only when you choose to download or print it.

External services

The hosting service may process limited technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as an IP address, request time and browser information. Official-source links open third-party sites governed by their own privacy notices.

The Lab is an experimental research screening tool. Results are automated estimates, not assurance, certification, financial advice or a substitute for professional and subject-matter review.

You are responsible for having permission to analyse a document and for protecting confidential, personal or restricted information. Although processing is designed to remain local, use only files appropriate for a research pilot.

We aim to keep the method and catalogue accurate, but do not guarantee completeness, uninterrupted availability or suitability for a particular decision. External links are provided for source discovery and do not imply endorsement of every external statement or service.

The Lab is designed for keyboard use, responsive layouts, visible focus, meaningful headings, live status messages, reduced-motion preferences and printable results.

If an interaction or result is difficult to access, email xiaolu.hu@rmit.edu.au with the page and the format or adjustment that would help. We will make a reasonable effort to provide an accessible alternative.

The searchable catalogue links to official corporate report pages. It helps locate source material; it does not copy, host or remotely analyse those reports.

The displayed formulas are identified on the method section. The pilot composite is a Cluster research measure and is labelled separately from established readability indices. English syllables, passive voice and PDF text extraction use automated heuristics.
